I have the Tecsun version Looks the same and probably is, so was the price of it (In Euro's) But the one i got doesnt do much in my appartment, which is full of steel beams and other metal stuff in the walls and floors Havent tested it outside and also not with an external antenna yet But it looks good

I got out of shortwave many decades ago I was on my set when I got what I thought was a transmission from an alien in space It identified itself as such After much back and forth he got angry and said they were going to destroy earth I huddled my family into my basement and waited (I know, what good is a basement if the earth is going to be destroyed?) Anyway, we waited Later we found out that it was just a bunch of kids punking us I tracked them down and gave them more than they expected, including destroying their shortwave set I was forever turned off by the hobby

I bought a few boxes of receivers from a passed shortwave listener and 1 of these was in the lot Of about 14 radios, I kept 2 This was 1 Mix of Kenwood, yaesu, and icom, I had the chance to use them all before selling Mostly ran on a 300' long wire antenna
