Id love to have one of those for use sake later on, just like having constitutional silver coins having the fractional "currency" but since im not up to my base weight goals i cant condone the higher premiums Once im up to my 1k ozs of silver and at least 10 oz's of gold it definitely wont matter as much I just hope to see the prices to come back down so i can stack more in less time

The benefits of paying higher premiums for the fractional gold doesn't have a big effect on making the purchase I believe gold/silver will be used for currency in the future (who knows when or how), but having the ability to pay for smaller items with fractional gold is something I like Thank you for doing the research of all the costs, cons and pros!!!

The key to buying 1g bars (if you can afford it of course!) is buying them in bulk I've been buying the 50 x 1g Gold UnityBars from Heimerle & Meule Currently €6246/gram compared to €6036/gram for a 2023 Charles Gold Britannia That's only a 35 premium and you still have the flexibility of selling them individually

That's a lot of 1's brMy primary reason I got into stacking was to have alternative methods to barter and buy "black market" items if we go to a Global CBDC/digital currency eventually Everything will be tracked, and selling my body is not a money making proposition In the future who knows what will be considered 'black market' (Knives, ammo, Meat, non-poison based medications) brIn my mind if that scenario plays out, it will be much easier to sell/trade smaller denominations of gold (maybe not everyone wants Silver?) You don't have to keep them in those cards Take 'em out and put them in a coin sack you keep on your belt When it gets full and too heavy to carry around all day, put the sack into a chest you buried on a desert island and get a new sack and repeat the process Don't forget to make a map though
