I'm from Canada I bought a small amount of colletor and 80 Silver coins a few Scotiabank Silver bars Their value has increased by 14 Since November I have been on a tear buying Buffalo silver rounds and a 10 oz bar, and I also been buying 925 and 80 have circulating coins some graded I also found some Silver Eagles and Maple Leafs My favorite are Canada 50 cent pieces and Buffalo's!! Now it's october 2021 and times have sure changed I've been buying silver eagles all year and the cheapest I've found were about $11 over spot for random year, and usually they're $11 over spot for 2021 Even higher for a few years old The first one I bought were I paid shipping was $41 The cheapest has been about $31

I'm not a fan of owning something worth like $25 that declares itself worth $1 If someone inherits it and knows nothing about silver, they might assume they were once worth only a dollar and gladly sell them for anything over that With the buffalo they'd have to do some research or take it to a coin shop and there's a bit less chance of the ignorant getting taken advantage of That said, if someone knew nothing about metals or coins, they probably wouldn't expect either to actually sell for $25
