 @LouieArrighi Aricle 1 Section 10 clause 1 dose mention both gold and silver, however Apply that with the 9th and 10th amendments and you will see the states/the people never 'gave' the right to congress to 'coin' anything but gold and silver as money a tender in payment But, the congress was given the right to set/regulate the amount of gold and silver to said coinage
