Left out here is that something on the order of 90 to 95 of " money in circulation" isn't even printed money It is debt in the form of loans from banks not even backed by paper ( it is all book keeping)

Federal Reserve notes were not as common in circulation as the video makes it seem In fact ones were not printed until series 1963 I don't know what part of the year, but I did not see one for several years and was paid at one time in silver dollars and later $2 US Notes Coincidentally, one dollar US Notes did not circulate after 1923 except in Puerto Rico

JFK was trying to issue more United State Notes (think Lincoln) Silver was withdrawn from backing our currency three months after his death and Silver Certificates were issued for several more years, but not specificly redeemable in silver, just coins Silver coinage was quickly hoarded and the bills shreded as they passed through the Federal Reserve

Coins can't be worth less than the metal, they're the metal Look up melt value It's not hard to transport A 1/10th ounce gold coin is smaller than a dime and is worth about $170 And last germany left the gold standard in the 1920's The Weimar Inflation was a major cause of WWII, and would not have been possible on gold We left it much later gradually in steps from 32-73 Get your facts straight!

Canada runs a central bank as well People in Canada are just as unaware of the real nature of money Canada's isn't quite inflated as the US, but notice it's not getting boatloads stronger either If prices go up for you for everything, and other currencies don't seem to go up or down much, it's pretty safe to assume they are falling at the same rate Commodities, gold, silver, wheat, corn, oil, gas, sugar, cotton, etc will all retain their value (until they spoil or rot)
