I am looking for a keyboard to use for creating multiple tracks to be used on youtube videos My guess is that I need something that allows me to plug in a USB memory stick Is that correct? What I really mostly need to know is what is the best keyboard for that type of situation - please keep in mind, I'm on a "recently laid off" kind of budget with nothing in the savings but it's time to do something new Can you help me with what I need to be looking for please?

Used to play piano in middle school I learned on acoustic pianos and keyboard and been missing playing for years so for my 18th birthday and graduating high school coming up I’m just trying to find a decent digital piano or keyboard that I will love, that’s not a cheap beginner keyboard I will keep you guys updated! ❤️ excited to get back into the world of music

I started in a Yam Clarinova digital piano and upgraded to an acoustic standup after a number of years, primarily because my daughter was advancing in her lessons and preferred her instructors “real” pianobrNow I wan to purchase a digital piano to put in my office to practice on and to use with headphones I’m thinking that as a secondary instrument, Incan get away with fewer keys and save some money and space? brI’d be interested in thoughts on this For context, I consider myself an advancing beginner Pretty good on chording through a song and using inversions, but still pretty simplistic in terms of rhythm and hand independencebrI played a jazz guitar for a number of years a long time ago and have a pretty good understanding of music theory

I bought the Casio Privia PSX 1000! It has a bunch of features that others don't have in that price range The keys feel like a real piano from experience! Not exactly but your playing a digital piano This thing still works jus as it dose when I unboxed it!

After a month of doing research I bought a Yamana P125B It is fantastic! The feeling on the keys and the sound on that piano and a real one are so similar I practice on the digital piano and have no issue playing the same songs on a grand piano

A Yamaha from years back, PSR-E223 with 61 keys I know it's considered a toy, but some of the sounds are impressive I do like the feel of it and would like to go up a few notches eventually Yamaha makes a decent product, I also have an acoustic guitar that fits me perfectly

Very useful video, thank you I now have a Yamaha digital piano, 88 weighted keys I also bought a pedal, very similar to the one you suggested The problem is ensuring that it doesn't slip as I use it I have put it on a type of webbing (I think original purpose is to stack wet dishes on), with a limited amount of success I would welcome any other suggestions

I ended up going with an Arturia Keylab 88 MKII cause I really wanted to start learning piano legitimately Big dreams of Rachmaninov and Art Tatum haha So I needed a fully weighted keyboard with a hammer action and 88 keys But I also like producing and wanted to get back into hiphop and film scoring as well as guitar based music which is my first instrument It has a nice Fatar keybed and a ton of controls within the daw I’ve been using Arturias Piano V2 software that it came with which is pretty decent but I’ve recently discovered Pianoteq which by just about everyone in the community, even hardware biased reviewers gets 2 thumbs up and it’s also endorsed by Steinway and a few other big piano manufacturers which I’ve heard is a big deal So I’ll be purchasing Pianoteq very soon as I agree that the sound can really make a huge difference

I went for the Alesis Pro Recital It's not perfect but I'm really happy with it having been learning for 2-3 months at this point I'm only playing for my own entertainment and satisfaction and it more than meets my needsbrVery glad I went for fully weighted!

The Studiologic SL88 Studio (and SL73 Studio) are amazing weighted MIDI master keyboards at a great price (same keybed that's in the Nord pianos)
