You should be economical, yes But I believe it's important to have weighted keys and it's not necessary to have all those farting sounds on the keyboard

I'm more than a beginner, but I'm seriusly considdering picking one of these up as a more light weight keyboard that I can play and take on the road while still sounding good My dgx and the psr-e473 are not good for this, because they are heavier and larger

Do you know if this is THE keyboard I should buy if i want a simple keyboard like this, but also want to filter out the most other sounds, and rather try to find a very clear almoust true piano sounding one in the same price range any recomendations ? :)brI would very much like to link you a video on youtube from a documentary to pinpoint the sounds im after( i think i would need more keys than this ) Would mean alot

The USB B is The standard for pro Audio and video pro Recording and so is the 3/4 inch headphones and these are great things not negative but a huge positive

Yamaha keys are slightly thinner than standard piano key width They are organ style keys So if u are planning to learn piano I would not recommend it

I have a concern, I see people saying that there are fake E383 keyboards out there which use sticker for the labels (button labels etc) They say that the original ones have the labels printed directly to the keyboard I couldn't tell from this video if your E383 uses English sticker for the labels I wanna know if there really are fake ones I hope you could help me out Thank you!

I'm kinda of the opposite mind: I think a beginner keyboard should be minimalistic Ya get so distracted learning to work all of the features and doo-dads that it's easy to forget about actually learning to play I had bought a Yamaha a while backspend hgours fooling around with 8,000 voices and 7 million rhythms and all the other crap, and never got down to learning to actually play (And most of voices were junk anyway) 9 years later now, and I'm buying a Casio CT-S1 and am going to try again As you know, that thing sounds amazing, but doesn't have all of the unnecessary junk

Thanks for your reviews I decided on the EW320 as my first keyboard For the price, I am quite surprised on how well the tones are I don't think they are quite as good a Roland GO:keys but still very good and I am not disappointed at all Now I just need to figure out how to play At 57 years old, I hope there are a few new tricks that this dog can learn

I have the PSRE463 What I have noticed is that when it comes to midi capabilities, The PSRE373, PSRE473, and this PSRE383 have two more midi CC capabilities that the PSRE463 does not have And those new capabilities are CC82 for General purpose toggle button 3, and CC83 for General Purpose Toggle Button 4 respectively Now I would imagine that one of those CC Control Change events will toggle the articulation mode on or off Very useful for the super articulation lite voices But I am not sure what the other CC event does

18:05 - they may be "obsolete", but to me, there's something to be said for having it built in to the keyboard, and not requiring a separate device, apps, etc I have enough trouble already with distractions; I want does-everything devices far away from me when I'm learning I'm sure in ways it's not as good, but well, we'll see how I like it in practice, as I've placed an order (Was going to order the E373 a while back, based on your reviews, but took time to get around to it, and now it's been replaced, so) Anyway, thanks for the info!
