As someone from the Netherlands, I'm always amazed at how many US cops are just standing around doing nothing at an incident brOver here most cops leave ASAP to continue their patrol Also, over here cops only take people to jail as a last resort as that will prevent them from patrolling the streets and helping people for a few hours, while US cops love to take people to jail so they can do (almost) nothing for a few hours

Im half way through the hiring process and im struggling to make the decision on whether to take the job offer or not I am making more than 100k with no o/t outside of law enforcement and starting pay in california city of LA for law enforcement starting pay is 65k with no o/t With two young kids and a house to pay off this decision is hurting me

I understand all of this bro No matter the career, we should all try to be financially literate Law Enforcement is a career just like any other, I don't understand why there is such a huge stigma about money Its okay and just straight up ADULTING to care about your finances
