Hey Tim, I’m a 1st year SPT and when I’m not studying I try to research jobs in PT so that I have some sort of idea of what will be fulfilling yet lucrative when I get out of school My conclusion so far for me would be to work fulltime/part time in an outpatient clinic to develop my skills but also work per diem either in acute care or home care in order to keep my pockets full Does this sound ridiculous or does it seem like a good idea? Also I’ve been trying to research PT jobs with a pension system built in but they are few and far between and I’m wondering if you have suggestions about that as well

In Florida outpatient clinics pay $75-100k per annum plus benefits if you have a solid resume and negotiation skills Home health: $90000-110000 for a full time salaried position plus benefits Employers are willing to pay more during season (winter) as the need is higher Its always best to look at the entire package rather than just base salary

In the outpatient clinics here (in Canada) you can work as an independent contractor and easily make $80-00 to $100,000 per year if you work full time
