You see the reason chumlee underbuys something is because pawn shop works on sales commission , the lower you buy something at the more you can sell it for and the higher the spread , higher the commission of the agent who bought the item, anyone can sell it but the commission goes to the person who bought the itembrChumlee is not co owner of shop like rick and corey so he works on commission So he has to underbuy things
