I would ask for an explanation as to why the threes are damaged so horrifically but not the one or the 9 When you have a physical item like this, in a soft metal, it’s not impossible to fake it About 20 years ago a not so bright lady had 10 of these confiscated by the treasury, after finding them in the bottom of her father’s, safe deposit box Why was she not so bright? Her father was known to have handled a couple of these and had secreted about 14 of them from the mint in 1933 through an inside contact She had sent them to the treasury for verification
