CSL Plasma has switched over to the new Rika machines here in Muskegon The estimated wait time while sitting on a couch-chair is between 35 to 55 minutes (it depends on the person's body and following the CSL's recommended nutrition guidelines the day before donating) I've been donating there for 10 months The staff are great there!

The process only takes 30-to 45 minutes depending on how much you are required to to donate bc they determine this according to ur weight The first donation as a new donor takes approximately 2 to 2½ hours bc the centers have to create a donor profile and do a physical But with this being said new donors are able to skip the lines on their first visit

Sooo as someone who donates, I’d like to note that the 15-2hrs is including the time for you to answer your questionairre and get your vitals/blood levels taken I’m usually done w the actual donation (plasmaphoresis) in roughly 30 min

the first donation in any center is around 2 to 3 hours, after that, the process is around 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on how hydrated you are

I go to CSL in Youngstown, Ohio I average 35- 85 per session Usually between 50-65 each visit I feel it is VERY worth it PLUS you are helping someone It normally takes 45-60 minutes You can read, listen to music with the earphones they give you when you join I've NEVER been there that long The actual donation process is 30-45 minutes br br

They do have location restrictions for bio plasma service Your home must be within 45miles of a Bio plasma services center that you're scheduled to donate at

I tried donating plasma today at CSL and I didn't complete the process since my arm started bruising up They had to stop the machine and disconnect me I got close to $100 anyway They told me to come back this coming Monday or Tuesday to attempt a second donation You're a big, strong guy who can handle it My sister and me are both two small women with somewhat too small veins That was my first experience

I made over $6000 in 2023 from CSL - It was worth it - i’m not saying you get that from day one but I’ve been donating for years’, 96 a year - I am platinum, rare blood, get max points, includes referral bonuses 👀 I will make like 4K this year, but I had to take time off for surgery deferrral - And now they have the newer machines used be 40-50min now 20-25min - Totally worth it

I just went yesterday to donate the for the first time in Anaheim They were very nice and professional I was worried that centers get fresh out of school employees They seemed experiencedbrThe first wait was estimated at 3 hours At hour 225, after a series of videos, questionnaires, and a physical, it was determined that my resting heart rate was too low, sub 50bpm (I run, ride a bicycle, and lift regularly) The first payment would have been $100 on a pay card, with a total of $500 over 7 visitsbrUnfortunately, since I didn’t complete the first visit I would have to begin the entire process over when I go in next😮

I'm 61 years old so I'm not really marketable in the workforce anymore I have some health issues but nothing that would deter me from being eligible I believe from donating this is a perfect way to not have to deal with a stressful boss for a couple hours a week to make that extra money My thing is I don't drive and there's no public transportation close to me so I would have to actually pay for Uber to drop me off and pay for my ride back which would probably be about maybe $25 total so that right there takes the whole money so This would not be an option for me and I work full-time and overtime at my day job It would be hard to find time to fit this in

I just went and had a reaction in which I was only able to give half of the plasma they wanted to take They are still able to accept the plasma that was taken(unlike when you cannot complete a blood donation) so it will still be used to help others And I still got paid the full amount as a first time donor which was a total of 75 dollars A half hour later I feel completely normal and still got paid dispute not finishing the process Overall it was well worth it! Whether I will have another reaction next time and will be able to donate again remains to be seen

I went in to donate at a center called Parachute and I was deferred because of a medication that I take I did research on the med and it would cause no harm if I donate I normally do blood drives at work It seemed as they took in low income people only

I donated plasma once many years ago and had such a horrible experience but I blame my husband because he didn’t want to get a whole meal to eat breakfast before going, so I only ended up eating some crackers before we went and during the donation I felt like I was literally dying and felt like I was going to 💩 my pants every time the blood came out to be cycled… It was so horrible I never went back again and it’s been about 12 years… but now I don’t have a job and really need money 😭
