Its not a good thing to take a 401k loan The compound interest from stock gains you miss out on is devastating to your future self It takes a long time to recover the missed gains and it takes years of gains and tosses it right out the door and sets your progress back years Lets be smarter than this people Comment from : @Breakthru7777

Pretty helpful I guess it makes sense if the money you put into your 401k pays of the loan you take out on it You just lose the gains of the money while it’s out I put 20 of my check into my 401k and it’s climbing rapidly Depending what I can takeout since I don’t think I fully vested would be something for be to seriously consider doing this I’d say my 401k is at about 17k after 6months Main thing is just not losing your job and you would be fine Comment from : @madangel2002
