some tips: put post-its on household objects naming them in the target language, i also used to walk around and narrate/name objects on my walks, write random stories/journal entries in the language, it helps build practice and confidence with communicating i eventually ended up having dreams in my target language!

My mother language is Spanish, but I’ve been learning English since I was six but I struggle so much because I was always overthinking, but our teacher told us that we need to think in English to speak it so now I am learning or trying to learn more languages with these mindset, sorry if I have grammarmistakes, but yeah😊

My husband attended an intensive German course last year He had B1 within 7 months and is now in Germany using the language every chance he gets He claims this has accelerated his comprehension of the language and how to use it in daily context It also helps that he is in a technical learning program because he is really forced to learn not just daily words but also jargon brbrGood luck to all of us learning another language

This might works for people who want to learn a language similar to the one they already know (but it requires a lot of real daily interactions, watching a lot of series, etc) or it could also work for people who are moving directly to that country and the need helps them learn But it's nit for every type of situation

I agreee to an extent, but I started off not caring about grammar much, and can say once I gave myself the authority to just learn some basic verb conjugations I was able to grasp things a lot easier brbrWe aren’t babies, we are adults, so for some of us, the structure actually gives a bit of a foundation to even allow ourselves to be effectively chaotic
