I've debated this in my head so many times and have basically come to the conclusion that you should just find out how much you want to save each month and get whatever that buys Personally i can only afford 1/10's, i could save up money for multiple months and get 1/4 but the whole point of me putting my money in gold is that cash is like water in my hands so getting it converted into gold is my way of saving it Gold has been steadily rising so chances are buying each 1/10 each month may end up cheaper than saving up for a year and betting a 1oz coin because in 12 months it'll be worth than much more

I like fractional (old) gold when it becomes available at a reasonable price 20 franc gold coins, dutch ducats, austrian corona’s and sovereigns Sometimes they come on the market very cheaply Scoop them up if you can Newly minted coins leafs, age, brittania, krugerrand etc just buy a Troy ounce It’s your best deal you’re (mostly) gonna get

Don't be afraid of fractional gold premium Indeed, it is higher than on 1 oz, but a 1000 gram goldbar has lower premium than 1 oz either So what should you do? Buy what you can afford to pay for and keeping in mind, that there is a chance you might have to sell it in near future Cutting 1 oz in half or quarters isn't a good option On fractional gold you might lose only if you buy them in a wrong time and selling them in a wrong time directly to traders Selling to private buyers is a completely different story and usualy the premium doesn't matter that much here Fractional is perhaps more expensive over time compared to 1 oz route but so are the credits and loans Believe me, it is better to have a problem deciding about which gold coin to buy, rather than wondering how to pay off your debt

I buy what I can afford, there is a certain dollar amount that dedicate to stacking Sometimes I will hold off and just buy a full oz, sometimes I’m impatient and will buy fractional It’s all about what the individual stacker decides to do Sometimes I like my eggs scrambled and sometimes I want them fried, neither is wrong and either way I’m still getting fed Whether I buy fractional or a whole oz, that is money that is out of fiat and into REAL money
