Your whiteboard reads ‘SS takes $2 for every $1 over’ and I think you mean ‘SS takes $1 for every $2 you earn over the limit?’ Comment from : @dannyreed2887 |

Looking to start collecting at 62 I turn 62 in August 2025 Does the money I make during the year (2025) prior to starting to collect SS count toward the earned income limit for 2025? Comment from : @jimmuir2551 |
|
a couple things that I have never seen covered on you tube about SSbrIf you go over the earnings limit and have a penalty while collecting survivors'br benefits do they recalculate at your full retirement age to help you recoup the benefit losses you incurred?br2 how do they arrive at what the earnings limit will be for the new year as the percentage increase in the past I noticed is not the same as COLA Comment from : @davidleonard4925 |

I will retire July 2025 at 65 and continue to work part time I understand the limit but I thought I heard you say it’s calculated at a monthly amount can you explain that so I don’t make a mistake staying on with my employer Do they only look at my income after my retirement date? Comment from : @AndreaSwiatek |
|
…finally ! A video that explains that I can make up to $23,320 on top of taking my SS early @65…😊🌈 Comment from : @marcusdevito5939 |

SoI reach FRA as of 4/1/25 I intend to keep working, and my salary is significantly beyond $21K If I take Social Security once I've reached FRA, will I be penalized? (Beyond 85 of it being taxed) Comment from : @sail3695 |

Our government is pure evil Comment from : @WilliamJohnson-le7zd |

Is the annual limit the only limit we can’t go over? Comment from : @zandrafaison2271 |
|
So SS withholds payments in the next taxable year? I'm an RN who plans on working one pay period and taking a month off, so I'll be under the yearly limit, but I'll get a fairly large check every 6 weeks, and I'm worried Comment from : @rnman99 |
|
Love the channel Very much needed content and well explained! Are there any perks a company can offer that would not be considered wages and used towards the calculation of that $21000? Maybe a car benefit or reimbursement of some sort, or a spending account? Comment from : @peterbodziony9768 |
|
Social security provides you with information on income limits when you start getting your SS, so this never can be a surprise in my opinion… everyone is being informed about this just my FYI lol Comment from : @mirellawentz4688 |

If I’ve had my initial phone appointment and hand delivered the requested documents, how long should I wait for them to get back to me, before I call them to see what’s up? Comment from : @PollyPatriot |

My age is 60 Comment from : @threadingexperts9673 |

Don't forget about the Windfall Elimination Provision WEP if you get a monthly retirement benefit from like a State job if you haven't paid into Social Security for 30 years it's reduced Comment from : @larryivey8118 |
|
Why is this even a rule/law? They should encourage seniors to work, it all goes back into the economy anyway Comment from : @JohnHeyman |
|
I understand all of this but I think it is crap LOL The day I die I am going to have a F-YOU Taxes party if I am aware enough Comment from : @okdk7 |

However, can you please make sure and tell everyone that if they do make the earning limit, they will most likely owe up to 80 of that money at tax time Hugs Comment from : @Nottallblonde |
