It does not seem logical that since half of the enrolled students dropped out, so he should have no problem (pun intended) finding students around him experienced difficulties as well Unless he was surrounded by other great students and the rest of the inept students were sitting in another part of the classroom

Phhhaaahahahah come to Germany my friend We were exactly 72 people in the first semester at mechanical engineering and at the start of the second semester there was only 24 of us left… we asked the professors if this was a normal performance and after laughing at us he said; „your class did very good this time, dont worry!“
