i have an older philips shaver i don't know which model but it tends to pull on my hair if i let it grow for a little too long will getting a more expensive and newer shaver like the 5000 or 7000 help with that? Comment from : @cyber2526 |

I had the 3000 series, but it was spinning quite slowly, and pulling out hair if i waited a little too long is the 5000 series or 7000 series any better? my very old philips had a much higher speed, so it was much faster, but it was very old and i couldn't get replacement blades for it, so i had to get a new one, and the 3000 series was not the answer Comment from : @Wormweed |

They call the 9000 "the world's most intelligent shaver powered by AI" which is an intelligence-insulting joke I bought a 5000X recently for $50 USD recently, and I find it rrrreally hard to believe that paying $210 USD more for a 9000 would have been worth it The only things I dislike about the 5000X are that it lacks a battery percentage indicator, and it requires a proprietary charging cord, rather than using USB-C, as it obviously should I'd also caution people to avoid buying shavers with rubberized handles, as they turn iinvariably/i to sticky goo after a few years Comment from : @censored7881 |
