this whole video is good up until 10:30 "every time you bend one of these hooks, you just made $300" yes your projected profit is increasing from each bended hook, but you still need to factor in the man hours spent on your own personal marketing, whether or not your going to art / trade shows and selling the cost of vending yada yada realistically the real money comes when you've established an actual art form that you have a personal market of clients to sell to developing vendors that will buy your items for resale, or buy your items for regular personal use or gifting the road is endless when it comes to creatives like metal working can add the most minor woodworking / burning into the mix and sell items that take less than an hour to make, for massive profit

I wanted a press so I found a machine shop that tossed a 3 ton ball screw and made myself a fly wheel press to make it easier and faster

I just took an old sharpfinger skinning knife that was recovered from a house fire cleaned it up, retempered it, put a natural hickory handle on it and made a hundred bucks The knife itself was not even worth 50 bucks

I remember my Grand Daddy back in the 70s blacksmithed on his down time I remember him using oak wood for the forge What is avoid hot forge wood charcoal or gas? Just getting started making tools from pawn shop pliers punches etc something that already has a form of what I want to make so I can learn quicker God Bless your day
