Definitely Cointreau Cointreau is better quality, higher proof, and less syrupy than generic Triple Sec It goes very well with Blanco tequila brbrI don’t like aged (reposado) tequila in a margarita but I’d imagine Grand Marnier being Cognac based would pair better with aged tequila Or just go with a Sidecar

I did not know about Combier until a few years ago - a 80 proof triple sec very similar to Cointreau I think I actually like it better than Cointreau in my margs and it’s significantly less expensive in my area

Basically Cointreau stopped calling itself triple sec to not be mistaken with the low quality crap that makes up the majority of triple secs
