Confiscation is completely unlawful Period No coin shop owner/employee has been given police powers to seize counterfeit goods Zero exception There is also a huge moral hazard in that any coin shop could claim any legitimate coin is counterfeit and seize it Comment from : @namechamps |

Certification companies now should ALWAYS photograph coins I've been shouting this for years, because a counterfeiter would have to fake the coin to match the photo exactly This needs to happen now! Comment from : @jim8684 |

Seems like it'd be a good idea especially for a newbie like myself to have fake versions of what they're buying just to use for comparison while still inexperienced Comment from : @woman-at-arms |
I actually had fake Indian Heads, but the thing about it is that back in the day of our civil war people were making fake coins but they were made of real gold, now me personally, I would love to have NGC or PCGS clarify exactly what kind of fake it is, because me personally, I'd love to own a period correct counterfeit coin from that era, it's a piece of history Comment from : @JoeBilello1969 |

How can I truly trust sd bullion ? Comment from : @Beachlife-1 |

There was an ebay seller with a slabbed Kruger Pond (not Krugerrand, the Victorian Era predecessor) which was in an NGC holder complete with all the latest holographic stuff and nonsense The coin was a fake as could be seen from information readily available on line Certain identifying marks present on all these particular fakes which started to show up some years ago Initially I thought this was a question of the grading company being taken in, in which case what is the point of the grading in the first place But now I wonder if it was just a fake coin in a fake slab Comment from : @petercollingwood522 |

I spotted 5 eBay dealers selling fraudulent certified NGC gold sovereigns & 20, 40 & 100 francs this weekend Official database Pictures didn’t match eBay storefront Hard to contact eBay corporate, informed them of counterfeits, but eBay storefronts still up, lots of novice bidders, thousands of dollars will be lost, eBay looses as it will ultimately have to repay its buyers for losses Certified means nothing on eBay🤣 Comment from : @chrisstanford3652 |

This is complete nonsense The so called coin dealer is a fake There is an x-ray device that ALL reputable coin shops and precious metal stores have It costs about $18,000 I have seen them working You just set the dial to: gold, silver, platinum, palladium The machine weighs the coin and scans it with an X-ray The read out displays the exact Karat number of the gold and the exact weight How do you think the person in the video verified the coins were fake? He used the machine Comment from : @chestermazurowski5167 |
This makes me wonder if all this fancy casing is more of a help to counterfeiters than if we just handled the metal Comment from : @Gna-rn7zx |

Love the video But one question I had an MS-70 silver eagle and reluctantly I had to take it to the coins shop to sell and they would only buy it for market value of the silver and not as a certified MS-70 They said it was because they certify lots of these I was pissed at their reason What do you think? Yeah I love those Morgan whatever they're selling clad coins what that is it's a piece of gold as thin as a piece of aluminum smashed onto the coin with the press and look it has 1700 milligrams or 17 milligrams it's worth about I think it was 74 cents but how much money would it take to get the gold off the coin to even sell the gold what little there is Comment from : @pauljanssen7594 |
My bullion dealer would not make it until tomorrow if he deceived us Comment from : @garlicbreathandfarts |

This is exactly why you can't just trade coins for goods and services in our society The average guy on the street has no way of knowing if a coin is real, especially numismatic value This is why dealers have to be the middle man to convert coins to cash and vice versa, and there is a premium paid there It's much simpler to use currency because it is trusted by the public Precious metal isn't a good investment in my opinion Comment from : @anthonydooley3616 |

temu out of china has (copy) coins and gold like this for few dollars- worth buying and leaving in your home/ if robbed, they will grab these and leave your good stuff alone/ or if hood demands money pull out of your pocket & toss him ounce of gold- looks real enough to fool a 90 of the hoods- and you get to survive the encounter- Comment from : @donze52 |
