I would be careful about leaving huge tips, unless something was truly exceptional This could lead to expectations for tips that are not part of the local culture and possibly even change it - which I'm sure that local culture will not be lining up to thank you for It's crazy here in the US, let's not make this another US export

Great and informative video, as always I just got back from a package tour that included flights, 1 checked bag each, hotel, hotel transfers, breakfasts, and tours to various historical sites (2 of those had lunch included!) And because I purchased it early, I saved a lot But in future, I'm sticking to cooler shoulder/off season times I choose to usually spend a bit more on hotels that are centrally located such that I can walk to places and not pay for either taxis or public transit
