I love listening to Michael Spitzer speak I've recently experienced two Sudden Cardiac Arrest events in conjunction with a "widow maker" heart attack, from which I obviously survived brIn other words, my heart stopped a couple of times for a while before being resuscitated brThe process of resuscitation, with both defibrillation and CPR being applied, is an extremely violent, trauma-inducing event for someone to live throughbrBelieve me, it just isbrIt's horribly upsetting, leaving lasting psychological, mental and emotional distress brAs a result of those events, I've been suffering, among many other symptoms, an extremely high level of constant anxiety that no one in my life seems to be able to understand or evens cares that I'm suffering from it brI've been finding that are very few things left in life that can calm me down, at least to some degreebrI discovered Michael Spitzer this eveningbrI also discovered some precious minutes of a bit of peacebrThank you, Michael

I am a multi instrumentalist and I started a t age 7 I can tell you playing and getting good at a instrument builds up intuition ability to scary levels It is a blessing and a curse Also, learning to draw from life at a high level also did things to my brain that I cant explain The good thing about drawing is you dont need to start young to see the brain changes it happens at any age

I think music is humanity's highest form of expression, yet I do not respond to it in the typical human way I think most of my music processing is done in the neocortex and the emotions I experience are my musical emotions which have little to do with the rest of my emotional life Music is stand-alone and I appreciate it for what it is I don't do the "this song takes me back" sort of thing and I have little nostalgia for any particular time in music I also have very bad mirror neurons and I can't dance or play sport (except swimming), and though I'm a proficient guitar and keyboard player, my rhythm is my weakness which is why I usually accompany myself rather than playing with a group Thanks
