an old man was selling this worn down guitar for rather cheap at the flea market and it spoke to me, so i guess i have a guitar now!! brbrit was, admittedly, a rather impulsive purchase, but now that i have one it's worth giving her a second chance at life and learning a new skill in the process!!brbrthis video was very helpful, you explain everything very well<3

The way I'm teaching myself is brute force learning a hard song I really like but that kind of works for me because I used to play years ago so I already have the basics down, I'm just a bit rusty

Bought a Fender Mexi-strat several years back intending to learn to play but it became a piece of decor on the wall of my pub When we recently bought a bigger TV I needed to move it from the wall to a floor stand That got me thinking about learning to play it again Long story short, I paid for a year of this guys lessons a couple days ago

I dont wanna tune anything Ill play all my shit outta tune long as I learn to put all the chords I know TOGETHER, fast enough, in general I'm gonna be fine Dont wanna learn to read music or tune I just wanna be not on some drrrrrrrr when I've had a guitar since a child and I'm 40 now Never am gonna learn to read music tabs tuning etc I quit lessons cause of it I'll play bar chords and use max metal distortion effects before I do that

Right with the a chord I'm trying to figure out how to move my pinky and ring finger that direction I literally cannot move them that way I'm also trying to figure out how to fit all three fingers on the fret

I bought this guitar for many years , try to take lessons, but it was nothing like this The teacher is always rushing Didn’t care whether you understood or not End of the semester he would give everyone a passing grade I couldn’t even strum a cord 😂 took out my guitar today It’s still new, sounds good
