Dehydration causes sodium to be elevated So If someone was dehydrated often would that cause LTP Vs LTD? Thank you for any response Comment from : @Trilost24 |

Ok so I have a question, and I hope someone would be able to answer it today, cause I have an exam at 4 lol Anyway brbrI was confused at the end when he said "which allows the low frequency activation potential to cause a greater depolarization in the post synaptic terminals"brbrIs it not because of the high frequency activation potential which causes a greater depolarization since there is more glutamate diffusing through the synapse to the post synaptic neuron? Comment from : @fareedahlabibali6966 |

Thank you for this awesome explanation of LTP Now I can finish my paper (as soon as I figure out how to give credit in a citation of a youtube video) (: Comment from : @sharonkende4774 |

I contracted herpes' I was told there is no Herpes cure except treatment to control it I totally lost hope All I could think was losing my life because it was so embarrassing to have this virus, few weeks ago I read about a possible natural cure which was guaranteed And I ordered the treatment after some weeks I got 100 cure Now I'm so excited to share this testimony thanks Dr Abumere: wwwdrabumereherbalremedyhomeblog Comment from : @JoyJoy-ev1wq |

Wow Thank you for this video! My textbook really was not explain this in a digestible way (could be that there were no helpful diagrams and I’m very visual), but you guys made this very comprehendible! Seems as though many other people’s textbooks are also not very clear as well, which is interesting because after watching this it seems like a fairly straightforward concept Could be that reading NMDA (especially when your brain registers it as MDMA because you watch to much Joe Rogan), AMPA and glutamate over and over gets a bit overwhelming and distracting from all of the actual concept of the function Comment from : @jaybyers8550 |

Hi! I have a question about this if anyone could help So, this influx of calcium and sodium ions leads to more AMPA receptors being created Is this just for one neural pathway going from the CA3 to CA1 or is it for all suggesting that learning one thing helps with learning of everything? I hope this makes sense Comment from : @benheim5055 |
Isn’t the Schaffer collateral on ca1 synapses? Comment from : @hannahdivic28 |
Why wouldn’t the sodium also repel the Calcium from entering the cell as well BC Mg and Ca have the same charge just curious Comment from : @ChampagneBabuji |

this is a WOW video Comment from : @aches6652 |

I wonder why only AMPA and not NMDA receptors are increased in number? Thanks so much for the fantastic video Comment from : @ellesrevisionsession |

How memories are formed for non students not studying their exams?brBy the way, new synapses can form when a high frequency signal a present Enough insignificant detail, now let's talk about how memories are formed by the opening of calcium channels Which last only 24 hoursbrThat is enough for your exam Comment from : @moiquiregardevideo |
It's perfect Thanks from Brazil Comment from : @guilhermemorais8898 |

high frequency stimulation(100 Hz!!) is not the same as repetitive learning LTP of this form is more likely underlie one-trial learning Comment from : @mitalipoovayya2787 |
this helped so much, thanks! Comment from : @thecoryaprilia |
Yet, it is well known that correct FOCUS can open a natural learning ability, the kind young children have Long term study is memory building, direct interaction as physical learning can bring in information faster The use of fear, warps information, the pavlovian dog movement, and as such, slows down processing as it blocks that direct seeing that is that degree/pressure/movement of absolute focus If we practice one " tempo" that acclimates and resonates, making it difficult to see through the " smoke and mirrors of inner resonance Yet, that shows us to ourselves Improvement in absolute focus, disperses that shadow, because it cannot withstand such exposure Comment from : @RebDalmas |
What about desensitization of the AMPA-receptor due to the increased concentration of glutamate? Comment from : @eliasdatek2082 |

Will an intake in Sodium, Protein, or Calcium give increased cognitive performance in any way? Comment from : @TravisKearney |
Why do the Sodium ions repel the Magnesium but not the Calcium? Is this overcome by active transport of Calcium ions through the NMDA receptor pore? Comment from : @davidhunter7764 |
My brain better release some glutamate into my synapses for this test tomorrow Comment from : @lousseaufrans7266 |
