The blue tint helps a lot in direct sun I tend to get multiple dots in direct sunlight with the acro due to the lack of tint

If you can get the RCR for cheaper than normal prices it makes it a more palatable purchase and I would recommend, otherwise I would go with the EPS, considering the EPS comes with a RMR mounting plate that for sure will help I also recommend watching 110 SSAS Actuals video on the enclosed pistol battle royale because he abuses all of these optics and shows the faults of what happens if they take beating, these videos ultimately helped me make my purchase

Great comparison video! I have the EPS Carry on a 365X and I love it I did send the first one I received back because there were reflections of red light in the housing (making quick dot acquisition difficult) but my second one didn't have any problems

if you’re doing your job as the shooter, staying target focused, any of these dots will suffice Thats only in regards to window size I cannot speak on durability for all these dots however, the acro p2 has been great to me and the romeo m17 has been good too although it has a smaller window than the acro it is still perfectly usable

“The problem with EPS is the k/rmsc cut”brbrBut to be fair, had we standardized on the k/rmsc cut for all pistols things would be better The K cut fits a lot more slides and the screw holes are better positioned It’s only because the rmr was first that we are dealing with that inferior pattern, often requiring plates brbrAnd adaptor plates are always sub optimal!

Going forward, there should only be 2 optics footprints: the DPP/Sig cut and the RMSc/Holosun compact cutbrThe RMR footprint is stupid and must die out Overhanging optics because you can't fit a battery is stupid, not a feature There i said itbrMake optic big or small Have enough space for a battery regardless

I was going to get the EPS carry on my (full-size) gun, but now that the Sig Romeo X Enclosed compact is out, I will probably get that one and honestly the main reason is that it looks a lot better Of course, as long as it works

I have an EPS Carry installed on my G19 MOS with a DPP titaniun plate, the width of the EPS carry is identical to that of the G19 so it is perfect, without excess material the sight cut allows you to co-witness with the standard glock sights, without the need for suppressor sights, It's a little small window, but for a sleek setup totaly worth it

My EPS has been a disappointment The window provides distortion particularly at the edges I have two RCRs and they’re so much more clear and consistent Fortunately it’s been reliable, though my buddy broke his when he bumped into a metal fence while the gun was holstered I know everyone thinks Holosun is just as good at a third the price but that’s not real Good luck

I’m pretty torn between the EPS and the new SCS for my Walther PDP full size at the moment I love the EPS for being enclosed and all the other reasons you mention here but the SCS requires no plate and can co-witness the factory sights I am leaning towards the 6 moa EPS though I like that reticle better on a pistol
