Please be careful buying generic if you care about ingredient!!!! I always bought generic to save money until I started looking into ingredients Generic often have a lot of extra additives and preservatives It will cost you in your health in the long run I have found good generic options at times, but it needs to be a case by case basic NOT a blanket suggestion But do look into generic organic For example, Walmart and Target have a generic organic ketchup for less cost and better ingredients than any name brand ketchup!

Go find that most meals do not need a full pound of meat Like chilli or spaghettiu can use a half lb Also I use ground turkey vs beef Taste is same for half the $

I was taught at a young age too work for everything you can too keep ahead of the game And I still too this day barter will sewing task for what each person can afford Like fixed hems and patched jeans and bibbed coveralls for 5lbs of leg quarters I canned the meat in broth and made bone broth and shared the meat and broth with the person and half the banana pudding I made It's and extended family values from multiple generations

I got a great deal on whole chickens!! I can make 4 different meals with a chicken (chicken spaghetti, chicken casserole, chicken salad, and chicken taco, chicken noodle soup, & using the bones to make chicken broth) My husband said I use the chicken in so many ways that I make something with its "cluck" 😂

With that fourth portion of chicken, I would definitely make a big batch of oven baked rice It is so delicious and easy Plus you can just throw a small salad as a side dish and you have your supper

Advert breaks on regular Spanish TV are so long, around 20 mins You have enough time to get a shower, dry your hair and put PJs on in the break! Another option in some towns is pawn shop treasures I buy many things, yard implement, tools, furniture & accessories, electronics My 42 inch flat screen was $35 It was 10 years old but works great with my aerial plug in antennae No cable!

I find that what I buy for food, never has a coupon I also find the food I need is never at a food shelf I find that people with food allergies that are over the top ridiculous like mine are taken to the cleaners So, I buy rice in bulk to save money People used to be able to extreme coupon shop and make save tons of money I've never been able to do that either And, I've never understood how they did it I'm not going to buy all those tic tacs though either Plus, shampoo I find makes my scalp itch if I don't use it within a specific amount of time brbrHowever, if you live in the right area of the USA, do not have too many of the wrong food allergies, you can save tons on groceries

Hope and Larry, I think for that 4th meal of whole chicken I would do maybe a strata or quiche with veggies and perhaps other leftover proteinor maybe put it on a pizza? I know eggs are expensive right now so I save by only using eggs as main ingredients; for baking I use an egg substitute like flax seed or egg substitute But I’m with you both: no wasting! All protein bones are saved to make homemade stock-so easy and flavor some❤
