The idea is wonderful, but without intervention, life is simply impossible The fact is that, if you follow this logic, many interventions could be quite natural and justified You shouldn't try to change what is not able to change or what does not need to be changed for best results

I had a teacher who minded his own business Rumors about events were discussed and there was no doubt he overheard them But he didn't care Sometimes people talked about very negative things with him, and he wasn't upset by it, because he accepted it and didn't see any reason to interfere I didn't understand it, because I was disturbed by rumors, and thought he should be too At some point it made sense to me that he was at peace by accepting that things are the way they are

One time when I was younger, I got in an argument with my older brother over a snake that we found in the process of eating a green frog I was saying that I wanted to save it because I felt bad for the frog My brother didn't want me to save it; as someone who spend more time in nature, he wanted to let nature be After arguing he eventually gave up and let me save the frog's life Should I have accepted that this was the way nature is?

It seems that you're saying that it's okay to interfere with others when they do harm Well, that's why many such interferences take place today For example, both sides of the political spectrum believe that the other side's rules / preferences are causing harm, and that it is their own set of rules that will prevent such harms Many people perhaps believe that they already practice non-intererence except with respect to preventing harm Should people / countries have interfered with Hitler's plans? Should people / countries interfere with Putin's plans to take Ukraine? Who decides when interference is appropriate and what is harmful?

The first class I took in grad school was an elective my advisor recommendedOrganizational Behavior It was a business class and why I agreed to that I'll never know But in the first lecture the teacher said something to the effect of: "If you don't manage people they will do what comes naturally" As though doing what comes naturally was clearly what you DIDN'T want, the polar opposite of the goal! I realized instantly that this course was going to be hard for me and it was However, this helped me to see what path NOT to take and I ended up learning about and loving philosophy, Buddhism, etc and eventually Taoism How fitting Thanks J
