Your complicating things a lot here cuz they are basically punishing us by not giving us good grades just because we couldn't memorize it's a bad thing to do (btw I'm talking about history class alone) and the thing is, even the teacher can't memorize anything and even if you had a photographic memory you won't remember every single detail cuz even people with photographic memory claim to have trouble remembering scripts and they can't even remember every detail so if they expect us to do that it's basically impossible
