What happens after the rated hours of use? Do you toss it when it breaks, or can it be serviced?brbrThis is a newbie question Can I pre-rinse, foam the car, brush it down (pressure wash the brush regularly to clean out debris), rinse, and repeat until the car is clean? Comment from : @user9b2 |
Do you know the difference between the se01 and the se02 for active 20 I wonder if they upgrade the hardware a bit to last longer My se01 unit died after a year, using it 4-8 times per month around half an hour I dismantled the unit and found some oil leak Comment from : @benoitparadis6398 |
Hi Pan, is this still your favorite bang for the buck pressure washer? Or do you have other favorites? Comment from : @nickt423 |
I love my old VE52 machine Works great I had a Ryobi and it didn't work out After a few years, my first machine ran into problems with surging Active replaced the unit no problems I wouldn't hesitate to get the new one from Active Comment from : @jyo8914 |
I am looking on getting a power washer for my car I have got a 175 L tank in my Audi A3 saloon 16 model I am looking to get a power washer is the 20 can I gravity feed water? Will it pump it out? I quite like this 20 because it is lightweight and apparently lasts also with other power washers wanting higher watts I don’t wanna trip anything out and potentially run it off a extension cable or a car battery Comment from : @JoshLawson-t2j |
Hi Pan, what was the foam canon orifice size please? In the new active 23 they recommended 145 orifice is this the case still here?brbrPls let me know thanks Comment from : @MomoGhanem-t5g |
After using Ryobi 1600psi 12gpm for a few years (I paid 68$ back in 2020), last week I decided to splurge the cash on an Active 20 unit, because I feel the Ryobi lack the cleaning power, lots of air but not enough flow Needless to say, I love it It is much more powerful, clean fasterbrbrI was able to get Adam's Polishes store here in California to price match Active website (because they have Boxing Day discount to 315 instead of 350)brbrMy cars' paint look cleaner and nicer too Comment from : @battlefield3112011 |

Hey Pan! I'd love to hear your review on the pressure washers from AVA of Norway (AVA go and AVA Easy)! Comment from : @cefernandezlobo1 |

Thanks for the video review Pan! I just ordered the Active 20 and I'm just waiting for it to arrive so I can test it out Do you know if the Active 20 would work in a mobile situation pulling water from a 50 gallon drum of water? Comment from : @Yielar1 |
Was wondering if you had any experience using the CR Spotless only with the snow foam cannon and final rinse? But first rinsing with tap water to preserve the life of the CR Spotless filters Was concerned if I may have water spots from first rinse Or does the Deionized Water get rid of that? I have hard water with over 500 TDS Thanks! Comment from : @markghazal3790 |
Is it safe to use the uberflex hose on the active 20? Comment from : @YMPUB |

Great deal Comment from : @Racontact |

Such a great video I’m starting a detail business & I’ve watch a ton of videos… you’ve got me to order one with this video Thanks for the incredible details! Comment from : @jacobsharp9659 |
Something interesting, the caterpillar electric power washer is identical It’s made by active but sold under the brand-name caterpillar It is about $75 cheaper FYI Comment from : @grantbearpaws |
i'm kinda new to this so don't laugh at this questioni got this "Y" type adapter that you plug into the output of the gun, one part of the "Y" connects to the nozzle and the other to the foam cannon and there is a slider valve that switches between the two so you don' have to keep changing between nozzle and cannonhave you ever seen these and what are your thoughts on themi haven't used mine yet but it seems interesting Comment from : @billmongiello4885 |
I had to replace my chemical guys pressure washer that turned out to be a real piece of crap unfortunately brbrSo i just ordered this pressure washer today, im excited about it I use mine almost daily with my little detailing business I appreciate your input im this product, I feel much better about purchasing it Comment from : @FlyTimeRC |
Hey Pan! I just want to thank you for all the effort you put into the videos It has helped me how so much because I am starting my own car detailing business, and it has helped me understandn all the parts before buying Thanks again! Comment from : @graythrall |
I'm by no means a professional detailerI just like having a clean vehicle After purchasing a new vehicle, I recently got into the 'personal' detailing and was looking for a pressure washer, preferably electric Rather than splurge on a premium unit, I decided to give the Ryobi 1800 a try, even though the flow was only 12 gpm For a cost of $95, it is performing very well I'm using a McKillans swivel and foam cannon, and this setup makes plenty of foam, even with a 30' flexible hoseno problem in that regard I did need an adapter to convert the Ryobi water out threads to the McKillans, but other than that not a single issue Very satisfied at this point Comment from : @photog1529 |
I don’t have this pressure washer but I bought a small one that is 1800 psi and I love it I don’t have to lug around a big unit or a gas one for the tasks I have at my house Comment from : @willsmith475 |
is there a difference between the Adams 20 and the Active 20? Comment from : @cowshaveclaws |
Hey Pan!! I was going to get a Greenworks, but after watching this video, I have purchased the Active 20! I have a dedicated 20amp for it, so do you suggest I use my 11 or 125 orifice on my MJJC? Comment from : @TheSf49erfan |
Pan, would you recommend this as a first power washer? I have been habd detailing for years but have never used a power washer My budget is $300 CAD Comment from : @szuberi |
Do you have a link on how to maintain a pressure washer like this? How to store it after every use, how to maintain the connections and actual pressure washer itself I have one of these, but haven't used it yet Comment from : @sagirius |
Pan wanted to ask you what’s the best pressure water that doesn’t require maintenance maybe electric for a mobile detailing vehicle …and do you need a water pump to connect it to the water tank? Is that needed Comment from : @CarolCityCane305 |
is there a specific wand you would suggest for the active 20 with the active short gun? Comment from : @ianfortney9965 |
Hey, I’m currently looking at getting this pressure washer Would this work with the Mckillans gun and quick connects? I just don’t want to get them and not work together Comment from : @charlieboulay88 |
Would this work with a gravity feed setup I currently run a water pump to my gas pressure washer but looking to minimize my setup Comment from : @Enkivisions |
Any Canadians compare the Active 20 to the Simoniz Platinum 2300 (model XE32)? Listed as 20 gpm with an induction motor Comment from : @andrewburt4838 |
just wash your car with a garden hose, has the highest flow rate psi doesnt matter bro Comment from : @tomh4658 |
sorry but an operating pressure of 1100 psi is 75 bars thats really not a lot for 350 bucks even with that flow rate it is also quite strange for a detailer to say that its a bonus feature that the unit has 'auto stop' in 26 years i have never heard of a presurewasher that doesnt stop pumping when you release the trigger thats bogus it would keep pumping and pumping till it burst or burned out my first pressurewasher i bought around 15 years ago from a no noname rand 1600w 130 bar Operating pressure and 450 liter per hour flow rate for 80 buck new smokes this thing cause even thought over the years i replaced the gun and hose it still runs fine regular old pump too none of this fancy 5 piston shit nad guess what brbrOF COURSE IT TURNS OFF WHEN YOU DONT HAVE THE TRIGGER PRESSED WAHT KIND OF MACHINES DO YOU WORK WITH Comment from : @tomh4658 |
Pan,brbrI don’t have a pressure washer yet, but I would like one that is versatile so I can use it for my car but also be able to clean the outside of my house and take it to my rent house I think the electric pressure washers sold specifically for detailing would be best for the car Duh! But for around the house a gas powered pressure washer would be a lot more convenient because I wouldn’t have to drag an electric cord aroundbrbrIs there a downside to using a gas powered pressure washer for car detailing? They typically have a much higher pressure rating Is there a concern about damaging the finish on the paint? Is it a matter of standing slightly further away from the car? What other concerns would there be for using a gas powered pressure washer for auto detailing? Comment from : @shumardi1 |
It has a pump so would I need to run another pump if it’s being fed through a 100 gallon tank in a mobile setup ? Comment from : @frenzyboy5619 |
Unfortunately here in Canada Carzilla and TOC are only selling the whole kit, which I don’t need as I have all the upgraded accessories including the active gun based on your recommendation Maybe the dealers make more on the kit 🤷😂 Comment from : @Azantys |
Love the channel pan I’m new to car detailing products and methods I really appreciate the videos btw Comment from : @scottfletcher1956 |
I'm currently exploring options for washing my car, but I don't have access to a dedicated car wash facility I'm trying to come up with a creative solution that is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly, with minimal water usage Only thing I have is to use a bathroom sink exclusively for this purpose
br
brDo you have any recommendations or suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer Comment from : @GothicOutlaws |
The previous version of the active machine is pretty close to my simoniz platinum1800 PSI 20 GPM that routinely goes on sale at crappy tire for well under $300 Comment from : @thebetamaxman |
Great video I have a question about the orifice that you have in the foam cannon What size are you using? I’ve heard that using an electric pressure washer you should use a 11 orifice for the mtm foam cannon to get thicker foam Is that true? Comment from : @kilbane6387 |
Is this the same one they sell at Adam's Polishes website as "Adam's Active 20"? Comment from : @Stinger_KDM |
Nothing for Europe :/ Comment from : @munich_zpeed |
Has anyone managed to source one of these in the UK? Comment from : @skipper_mtb6644 |
Would you say this is a viable option for a mobile detailer? Comment from : @jasonmichel1946 |
Do they make this for 220V 50 Hz grid? Comment from : @MP_7 |
It’s crazy you’re still replying to these comments even after months of posting the video Fr a quality creator for your viewers Comment from : @Animas1an |
Can this also be used to clean patios? It seems better quality than all the options at big box retailers, but not sure it's got enough PSI for everything I want to do with it Thx! Comment from : @minnybiker4505 |
Would love some help… Greenworks Pro 2300 or the Active 20? - just a homeowner who uses it 90 for cars Started with a Karcher 1800 and ready for something better Watched tons of vids Warranty on Greenworks motor is 10 years, but Active 20 is all over YouTube and other places as edging out for car detailingbrbrWhich one? Comment from : @striderwolf687 |

my sunjoe spx3500 (brushless motor) is a million times quieter than my previous spx3000 If there exists a 20gpm that is just as quiet point me in that direction Comment from : @InTheZone85 |
I NEVER SEE A DIFFERENCE IN MY FOAM WHEN USING HARD WATER VS DI WATER IMJOSHV DOESN"T EITHER!! NOW THE REST OF THOSE SITUATIONS DO APPLY TO THE AMOUNT OF FOAM THOUGH BUT MY PPM IS 350 WITH DI TANK AND MY FOAM IS EXACTLY THE SAME CONSISTENCY WITH THE DI TANK! Comment from : @mattolivo |
only 250 hour lifespan on motor?!? Comment from : @LinusF_ |
I used mine for the first time today and it shut off within a minute of using it and it would not turn back 😢 so I just returned it Comment from : @Synthesis |
Everytime I watch your channel I buy something - maybe I should unsubscribe or start hitting that dislike button JK, love you work! Comment from : @adawalli |
Do you prefer this hose over the blue UberFlex everyone raves about? I like that this one has the quick connects built in but the UberFlex does seem lighter and more flexible? Comment from : @jasminebonhomme9723 |
How many decibels is it? Comment from : @mikeblakeslee |
Mine started on fire two weeks ago Lasted 6 months Purchased a Kranzle Comment from : @kevinpaluch26 |

So if I have a water tank I don’t need a pump? This pulls it itself? Comment from : @spencerfarquhar1 |
I could only find the version with the accessories included, so I went with that Is the included foam cannon any good, or should I invest in an upgrade? Comment from : @kevinhacken9801 |

Active 23 is about to launch! 40" hose, quieter (more of a hum than a REEEEE), 25x longevity (instead of 2x longevity) BUT it's literally twice as expensive $650USD / $850CAD Comment from : @zenon3021 |
Hi PanbrThis video is 7 months old and i am planning to buy a pressure washer for myself Would you still recommend active 20 or there is another product in the market that I should consider Comment from : @vedantdeswal3214 |
Can you gravity feed the active 20 for a mobile setup Comment from : @anthonyberri5255 |
So which one is the best for a car wash? Let’s say if you wash 10 cars per day Comment from : @taitkasipo951 |
Too Expensive! There's so many professional detailer's who use pressure washers significantly less than $20000 for 16/19 gallons of water flow You don't have to spend $40000 to get similar results Comment from : @jimronsivalli1675 |
Wonderful presentation I’m sold Also great collaboration with OG Comment from : @rns2222 |
Please review it powering a surface cleaner and floor cleaning too Comment from : @defaultHandle1110 |
I ended up buying the Active 20 based on this video review, and boy does it not disappoint I am coming from a Kobalt 12 and I finally got a chance to try my Active 20 (which I got on sale as it seems like they were clearing stock in preparation for the Active 25! WOW!) What a unit! I honestly didn't think I'd notice the flow rate of water, but I absolutely did It was significantly easier to get all the soap off The unit is smaller than I expected in person, but does such a great job Super happy so far with my first experience Comment from : @LeifMadsen |
Is the Active 20 available in Europe? Comment from : @MaximiliaanDevloo |
I just bought the 10 version for closer to $200 to replace my first sunjoe after several years Comment from : @therealmatthewsmith |
I have no doubt regarding your detailing knowledge Regardless I am loosing confidence that your channel is of much help to me… I have been detailing my cars for many years the old fashion way, but I have finally decided to purchase a pressure washer - RYOBI 1800, for less than $100 - along with all the required accessories For me, spending over $300 for the entire kit is all I am willing and able to spendbrHowever, your channel seems to address mostly professional detailers or people willing to spend for the latest and greatest I wish I was in that position but I am not and thus I am finding your videos less than useful I suspect that many of your viewers are weekend warriors like me that cannot justify $350 for the active 20, or the high price of most products you review I wish that you would review less expensive products with people like me in mind Comment from : @mariopimenta2712 |
How might the Active 20 compare to Greenworks PRO 2300 PSI TruBrushless (23 GPM)? Comment from : @IHDIHD-q8z |
