For effective car washing, flow rate is as if not more important than pressure Generally for car washing you would want your psi in the 900-1000 psi However I believe this unit has a max flow rate of 10gpm (most likely measured at no pressure) which is much too low I guess this fits in the better than nothing category, but I would not buy this specifically for washing your car
