Why do people just default to criminal behavior? Someone similar happened when a company printed prop money for a movie The extras took the money that had been rained down on the crowd They knowing used the fake money and got the company in trouble with the FBI They got off with a warning about counterfeiting and had to surrender their materials The people who used the money are the ones who should've gotten in trouble

It's not illegal to print clearly fake currency That's why there are so many kinds of play money out there It is, however, illegal to try to print money making it look real or to pass off fake money as if it was real The Treasury had no grounds for taking the original artwork as MAD magazine made no attempt to pass off their bill as anything other than a parody artwork The problem was the machines not being able to check the front design or the fact that the bill was one sided

We kinda used to do that in middle school On the old 5s there was a thin strip that I guess acted as a barcode that told machines that it was a 5 I don't know the money science I just know it worked You can only see it if you hold the bill to the light its like a thin line if you had a steady hand and a REALLY sharp pair of tweezers, you could peel off that strip, put it on a $1 in the same spot, throw it in the vending machine and refund Bam 6 bucks become 10 Just make sure to never try that 5 in a machine again because it will never work ever again Most times they just get eaten after you take off the strip It was a pain in the ass so we didnt do it often but whenever we wanted to do something fun on the weekends we would spend a few hours hitting up the "atm" doubt you can still do it now with the new 5s and new machines
