Thank you for this video! I've been playing again and play everything in C but I'm making myself learn other keys I learned to play by ear before I learned to sight-read And I never did learn to sight-read, I just go by numbers, 1,4,5,1, etc I really needed this because there are no shortcuts! It's about practice, practice, practice 🙌🙌🙌

Thanks, I would like to add that you don't have to be physically at the keyboard to rehearse different keys One needs to be able to 'think' in different keys Also, the number system is so very important It's like knowing the alphabet or your multiplication tables! Certain keys are similar I meant to say that they conform to the hand in similar patterns One last thing, a lot of times you will discover new chords etc while practicing in other keys
