The key fob I used was an old one Don’t laugh, but here ya go…brI lost my original key fob Had to call locksmith He programmed a new key fob When I found the original it didn’t work due to new one being made I did keep original just in case Well it just so happened I misplaced the key fob the locksmith made for me So I thought why not try the original key fob that came with my 2008 VW EOS Followed your instructions and IT WORKED! brNow if only I could fix that string for the roof that would be great Not wanting to spend $2000 for that fix Also I don’t think there’s anyone close to me that can fix it Thank you so much for your video My sister and I appreciate you!

Yes that did do the trick One bit of extra precaution to not get frustrated bc I did this; hold the lock button on the fob down longer than usual Just pressing it will not reactivate it Hold for 5 seconds or more

Worked after my car was in the shop for three months and got deprogrammed They quoted me $200 at the Audi dealer and $160 at the locksmith Glad I looked this up first! Fixed it in about 5 seconds and it hasn’t been working for months
