Just out of curiosity (Gemini AI - so grain of salt):brIt's estimated that around 150,000 1982 Roosevelt dimes were minted without a mint mark However, the exact number is unknown brExplanationbrThe "No P" dimes are rare because a mint employee accidentally didn't punch the "P" mint mark into a die used to strike the coins The error was discovered in late 1982, primarily at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio brValuebrThe value of a "No P" dime depends on its condition An ungraded dime in Extra Fine condition might sell for $30, while a Mint State dime in Gem or better could sell for $300 or more Comment from : @mattmcrae1458 |

That is a great find and a great subject for a lesson Thank you, as well, for calling out those E-bay dealers who are scamming people We talked about that once you telling new people that watch is very helpful I was confused when I began my journey About everything I was probably 1 1/2 years into it before I stumbled on to your channel I had about g8ven up on finding information thatbrA) mattered and was useful with coins that I had a real chance to come across and B) didn't take an hour of teasing for the minute it took to say it Thank you again, Daniel Maybe I missed it but do you have plans for the dime? Also, i know this is not for Q &A but I read that not all mint marks were pre- engraved by Philadelphia mint That it took a year or two for some denominations You dont need to answer, just a thought for a show Comment from : @DdotNejtleo |

No matter how many times you say that this business strike coin is the ONLY one that is a variety because it is missing the mint mark there WILL be those who say, "I have this (random date) coin without a mint mark How much is it worth?" Daniel I think that people are just so in debt these days that they are trying to see if people will fall for buying these coins that are not even close to the real value It's hurting the coin collecting business I hope people don't fall for these cons Evertime I go on Pinterest I see ridiculous values placed on coins that have really only face value And some are selling coins for hundreds and thousands of dollars Something should be done about it But best to stay informed Which is why I tell people I know to go to your channel for correct information Comment from : @parallaxview47 |
