By any chance Davie have you tied on your excellent Videos (the Dry Fly pattern ) of an old Scottish fly called ‘The Professor’ - my father RIP swore by it on the river during certain times of the summer I searched your Videos but cannot find anything No problem if not BTW

Davie, Did you use the 1890 version of this flie's dubbing? I believe it uses the fur from a Ram's gonads, red mohair, fur from a golden spaniel, and medical attention for the person who approached the Ram Just curious

Hey Davie, thanks for sharing this pattern I heard you say it was a variant but it looks like the pic in a book I have I intended to tie some up this morning and the first fly I saw on YouTube today was you tying one!
