just came across this Stay away from coinstar Your bank should have no problem taking your coins Butif you don't go through your coins and check them out you might be losing out big time Buy a $10 scale to weigh your individual coins A 1983 Lincoln penny that weighs 31 grams is worth up to $15,000 due to a higher copper content Most weigh between 27 and 28 gramsbrbrAnother thing is to just look at them If they've been minted off center or double struck those are worth some money And it happens more than you would think In my change I got back from the store I found a 1969 D penny that's worth $100 because of an error And I also got a 1993 penny that's off center and worth probably $10 brbrThere are plenty of them out there and you sure can offset your costs just by taking a few extra minutes with your finds Comment from : @usa91787 |

I use stainless steal ball bearing I only have one tub tumbler So I put in soap n vinegar as you do Only difference is I dump this content into a small sifter that you would use for sifting flour Rinse the content than just shake the strainer and watch how the coins rise to the top After removing the coins I let the ball bearings and tub air dry One Ryan the bearings go back into tub ready for the next leaning Comment from : @tomr2210 |

I have been cleaning clad coins like that since the 80's It works great as a Tool but never use it for valuable relics and coins takes the patina off especially Wheat backs and turns it to a dull orange color some Buttons is ok but not the two or three piece buttons I haven't got out much in the past years so i just stick the clad coins in a coinstar to get rid of them Merry Christmas Thanks AL Comment from : @OldiesGoodies |
Thanks for sharing Boss man Yay last nite my internet must of been on the holiday already Comment from : @johncolbert8181 |

Most of Canadian clad is not copper based, so I really pick few of them since I look for silver and copper I got around 15 bucks US Most of my Canadian clad is recent surface drops Looks like there is good 200 bucks in the jar We have a loonie/toonie advantage though Most of that clad is washed and will be spend The nasty ones will go into parking meters and other machines Sometimes they look at them funny at Starbucks lol Comment from : @925inder2 |

Hi Tony, I do it the same way, but for the rinse I picked up a bowl strianer at the thift store and took a 1/4 inch drill bit to ream the holes big anough for the rocks to get through Makes the separation of the coins from dirt and gravel really easy Thanks for the video HH Comment from : @hattrickjim |
