@capnrob97
I just started this weekend, found $27 and change at a site that hosts an outdoor arts festival down the street from my house I don’t think anyone has ever detected at this location, found it all in just one corner of the property, still have a lot more to search
Comment from : @capnrob97

@richardmartin1332
Just my opinion but you need more gravel and let it run for a min of 2 hrs
Comment from : @richardmartin1332

@Cortney_Whitecotton
Noodle strainer would be lot faster after the tumble to rinse it all😊
Comment from : @Cortney_Whitecotton

@georgereichle7998
If it is just clad i use a brass wire wheel and a dremel tool
Comment from : @georgereichle7998

@usa91787
just came across this Stay away from coinstar Your bank should have no problem taking your coins Butif you don't go through your coins and check them out you might be losing out big time Buy a $10 scale to weigh your individual coins A 1983 Lincoln penny that weighs 31 grams is worth up to $15,000 due to a higher copper content Most weigh between 27 and 28 gramsbrbrAnother thing is to just look at them If they've been minted off center or double struck those are worth some money And it happens more than you would think In my change I got back from the store I found a 1969 D penny that's worth $100 because of an error And I also got a 1993 penny that's off center and worth probably $10 brbrThere are plenty of them out there and you sure can offset your costs just by taking a few extra minutes with your finds

I have an ultrasonic cleaner Now I just need to get the Forbidden Gatorade to clean up MY coins
Comment from : @immortalcorvus2518

@tomr2210
I use stainless steal ball bearing I only have one tub tumbler So I put in soap n vinegar as you do Only difference is I dump this content into a small sifter that you would use for sifting flour Rinse the content than just shake the strainer and watch how the coins rise to the top After removing the coins I let the ball bearings and tub air dry One Ryan the bearings go back into tub ready for the next leaning
Comment from : @tomr2210

@healingmindbodysoul
GREAT VIDEO THANKS WHATS THE MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND SOUNDS LOVELY RELAXING ???
Comment from : @healingmindbodysoul

@boblinda1738
You refer to the coins as "clad" Does this mean yo have sorted through and removed any pre-1965 silver coins and any other coins that may have numismatic value? I'm new to your channel, and these were my first thoughts when watching this video Thanks
Comment from : @boblinda1738

Found 400 quarters, 2,636 pennies, 360 dimes, 234 nickels 5 one dollar coins and 16 silver coins 38 wheat back pennies and way to many Canadian cents I only started on July 20th of 2018 Now I am hooked on detecting I use 1/2 cup water1/2 cup white vinegar and a squirt of dawn soap in a Gatorade bottle Shake for about 5 minutes and check If needed do again Pennies I use apple cider vinegar a dash of dawn soap and 1/2 water Shake a few minutes remove and repeat if needed I do it at the end of every week and roll them I am using the coins I found to do coin searches now and it don't take away from my every day money I rotate between 3 banks each week Oldest coin was an 1889 Morgan Also a 1900 O Barber half and that was my first coin target Looking forward to 2019

Comment from : @MUDdled7353

@OldiesGoodies
I have been cleaning clad coins like that since the 80's It works great as a Tool but never use it for valuable relics and coins takes the patina off especially Wheat backs and turns it to a dull orange color some Buttons is ok but not the two or three piece buttons I haven't got out much in the past years so i just stick the clad coins in a coinstar to get rid of them Merry Christmas Thanks AL
Comment from : @OldiesGoodies

@tomshively5419
Good videoI used to pour my dirty water down the drain like youbut got worried about too much residue buildup in pipes, so I use a strainer in the bowl, carry it outside and rinse using o/s faucet! I find a lot of coins, was probably averaging 20-30 a week in summer
Comment from : @tomshively5419

I didn't really clean my clad I just rolled it up and deposited it in the bank I made 6982 this year it looks like a good idea to clean it up I might just have to look in to getting a tumbler for my self thanks for sharing and HHbrKyle
Comment from : @bigdaddykmetaldetectingand9239

@925inder2
Most of Canadian clad is not copper based, so I really pick few of them since I look for silver and copper I got around 15 bucks US Most of my Canadian clad is recent surface drops Looks like there is good 200 bucks in the jar We have a loonie/toonie advantage though Most of that clad is washed and will be spend The nasty ones will go into parking meters and other machines Sometimes they look at them funny at Starbucks lol
Comment from : @925inder2

@hattrickjim
Hi Tony, I do it the same way, but for the rinse I picked up a bowl strianer at the thift store and took a 1/4 inch drill bit to ream the holes big anough for the rocks to get through Makes the separation of the coins from dirt and gravel really easy Thanks for the video HH
