Is it possible to go with a red dot type and snap on a mid range scope if you need it? I have never put a scope on anything, is it a pain in the ass? Do they make anything designed for that? Comment from : @19skerge19 |

@nutnfancy What about a video for best longer range scopes? I need to reach out to 1000 yards I'm not not an F class shooter, but I do some long range hunting (so the scope needs to take very heavy recoil) and I also do some messing around to 750 because I can and it is its own fun little challenge I don't really trust scopes under $500 for what I do, because I buy nothing but the best that I can afford My max price is $1500 ish Comment from : @Tannerite4targets |
Hey Nutnfancy, I'm going to purchase a Burris 3-9x40mm Riflescope for my AR I was thinking about also getting the AR-PEPR Scope Mount from Burris as well It weighs 83 oz Off hand is there a lighter weight Favorite Scope Mount that you would pair up? Thanks! Comment from : @mrwalnuts79 |

Nut'n! I need a solid opinion I'm buying a Sig MCX and need so advice on glass Using this firearm for plinking, home defense, and protecting our country from communists like some possible presidential candidates (no names needed) Ranges I will be shooting are 5-500 yards I can't decide between the Leupold 1-4x20 VX-Hog and Vortex 1-6x24 Strike eagle Cost isn't a factor because I get large discounts because I'm a firearms salesman at a sports store Why I'm torn is because the Leupold is 8ozwhile the vortex is 18oz But the vortex is a 1-6x, is illuminated, 30mm tube, and I prefer the reticle What's your opinion? Thanks for the input! Comment from : @chasebricker639 |

I have a question if anyone can help out I am going to set my rifle up for mid range I'll definitely be using a 2-7 or 3-9 power What I want to know is how well these lower cost scopes such as the Burris Fullfield II, Redfield Revolution, Weaver Classic V, and so on hold their zero Will they shift zero if you shake or bump the rifle? Would they hold on ssomething like a bolt action 308? Comment from : @SnackAttackO1 |

I admit, I took a very quick bathroom break during the vid and missed a minute but how does this video get made with no mention of the Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN? I think that is ridiculous its not even in the pool I still enjoyed the video though, like all of nutnfancy's videosbrbrbrAnd is the guy in the video using a swiss army knife bottle opener to adjust his sight? That made me lol Comment from : @orbust |
Would love a video on mounts as well! Thanks for all you do! Comment from : @NateGDogg1226 |

I've never understood why people worry about wheather they use a red dot or a scopebrbrbrYou can just put a red dot on a scope, shit I have a 4-15×50 scope with a small red dot on left side laser on top and a easy to use flip up iron sightsI never ever would have a scope without a red dotbrbrZero red dot dead on at 50 yards and zero your scope for 100 or whatever you choose that way within 150 your a tac driver Comment from : @kylesundell1554 |

Hey nutn, you guys should do a separate review on the Vortex viper pst line Awesome high quality scopes at a good price Comment from : @anthonyr2523 |
For me, the very best AR optics are hands down, the Trijicon ACOGs in the 4x32 configs They're unbelievably simple, light weight, almost indestructible and enjoy fantastic light transmission I'm not in to variable 1-4x Just seems too complicated and long when you could simplify it with an ACOG But thats just my opinion I basically like to stick with what the military uses but I'm not into red dot sights, so the most obvious option for me are the ACOGs Comment from : @jakeweston8616 |
This was a great video Thank you! I'm gonna go with the Leupold Mark 4 HAMR Yeah it's over $1,900 But Through my work I can get it for just over $1,000 I think for me it would be great! An optic that has caught my interest, and a choice that seems to be reinforced by at least 3 videos on this channel, is the Leupold VX-R Patrol, which is a variable 125-4x scope with illumination coming in at just under 12 ounces!brSince I am just now starting to jump in to the gun buying thing, as I just came of age, I'm doing my research brMy first Rifle will most likely be a Daniel Defense M4V1 or a DD M4A1, and the Philosophy of Use would be a close to medium range gun, If I could Push the thing out to 300 yards, I would I could go with something more SAWC like the M4V11, but the "Old School" Rail is a second kind of cool for me, and with the way DD rails seem to be, the slight weight addition may not be too much of a concern in a longer rail (Which is 12 inches on both)brIt would be at least $1100 for an EOTech or Aimpoint sight with a magnifier, and I'm sure it would be more than about 15 ounces when it's all said and done, but for the price of the Aimpoint CompM4, I can get the Leupold VX-R AND if I wanted to drop the cash, a LaRue SPR mount Comment from : @StriderCZ |
Do you think a Trinity Force 1-4X28 Assault Scope Combo w/ Red Dot, 28mm, P4 Sniper Reticle is overkill for a S&W Model M&P15-22 ?? I can get it for $99 I'm a newbie when it come to scopes on rifles May also mount this on my future DPMS purchase soon Comment from : @JES2691 |

For anyone wanting the Butler Creek flip-up covers for the Weaver 849399 scope mentioned in this video the part numbers are: Ocular - Item #21011 10 & 11 Eye Objective - Item #21314 13 & 14 Eye This drove me nuts, had to take my scope down to Cabela's and trial fit them Comment from : @michaelbell9697 |
