Very interesting discussion around world id and worldcoin, however the flashy cgi and superflous language really takes away from the video Would love to see a more detailed and rigorous version covering these topics so that a viewer can form a well grounded opinion about the projectbrbrFor the reasons mentioned above I dislike this video, however I want to like it For example, at 00:21 and 24:42 a rendering of coins dropping onto a laptop with a sound resembling something a casino would show to trigger a reward signal in a viewers brain is shown but that which adds no informative value to this video Or how at 00:36 it is stated that the video will tell us viewers "which of the conspiracy theories may be true", which lowers the credibility of all further arguments later on in the video and is a cheap way of grabbing attention Instead the authors could simply have said that the video will discuss "some theoretical weaknesses of the project" and let the viewer themselves judge the legitimacy of the claims rather than the authors claiming themselves that they are spreading conspiracy theoriesbrbrThis is especially sad to see considering the authors seem to support some of the core ideas that the world id and worldcoin seem to support The authors for example state that a (presumably global) decentralized digital identity is well needed in todays world, yet their language and graphics directly impede its development pulling attention instead to (self claimed) conspiracy theories and brain rot graphics and sound grabs
