i agree mentally it feels better to get 24k gold but the 22k gold is not as soft so it can take being handled more

I prefer 24k , but the 1/4oz Britannia is too high premium So maybe I will go to Sovereign with avoid the CGT

I like the 24k gold Britannias I have more of those than gold eagles and I live in the US I like silver, gold and platinum Britannias To me they're such great looking coins

After the previous video you did on the two coins, I’ve done more calculations today Present price of a sovereign (competitive London dealer) is £36880, present price of a 1/4 Oz Britannia £41778 For the Brittannia to compete gold for gold it should only cost £396 so they’ve put on an extra £21 premium over the sovereign! brI did buy a 1/4 oz Britannia recently though, partly inspired by your earlier video and must say I love the fact it’s pure gold but from a purely investment point of view I think my next purchase will be a sovereign as more bang per buck plus it has great heritage, this despite the fact that it lacks the yellow brilliance of pure gold
