I’m so nervous to put my paintings up for sale I want people to like my paintings as much as I do, but that’s never guaranteed I’d feel crazy if I’m the only one to think my paintings are good/cool/beautiful though brI’m fairly new to painting, but I think it’s become a life passion and something I can potentially be successful in Painting is all I can think about and all I want to do Canvas paintings are stacking up in my place (on the verge of hoarding), and running out of funds for painting supplies Marketing sounds incredibly tedious All I want to do is paint (create) It’s incredibly therapeutic for me Marketing stresses me out Be that as it may, I appreciate your video It’s very informative and helpful brYour art is amazing btwbrMuch love from the US

im 36 ive been drawing and painting as long as i can remember I also figured things out on my own and am completely self taught Sure I had HS art classes, but that was it Anyway I had a son in 2009 and by 2018 I was divorced I gave up art I threw everything I had away all my drawings, paintings, all of it I tried working I have never been able to find direct instructions on how to do this, just vague suggestions Every time I wanted to try art again I felt guilty since I needed to be making money and since I could never find out how to really do that I gave up Maybe now I have a chance

I am a jewelry designer and I sold on etsy from 2007 to 2018 The site continually went downhill over that timeI went from being able to make a full time living for about 6 of those years to a barely getting any sales because they keep making the search algorithm worse and worse and it was flooded with cheap imports Ironically, ebay is better for selling literally anything, from art to vintage to crafts

Great video, especially the bits about deposits and proper packaging I generally ask for a 50 deposit before starting work on a painting and have seen enough horror stories about poorly packaged products be they art or tech stuff that I keep stocked up on bubble wrap and other packing material and don't feel the need to skimp, lol
