I one of these, my mum brought it for me late in the 90s this generation of laptop cam out in 1996 and was in stores till 97 was the next gen came out mine is in perfect condition I treated like a pet when I was a kid

I think this is the exact same version I had around 1997 It was so cool!! I remember the character was an anthropomorphic puppy dog and the computer would play songs like "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" So cool I miss it!!

I also had one of these, coincidentally my mom also bought it from a thrift store in the early 2000s Mine didn't have a mouse and I think the latch might've been red, but I don't remember tbh But besides that it looks the same! From my googling I think mine was the talking whiz kid animated I was so young when I played with it that I don't remember the games at all

So, my first laptop Alright, it is the 2007 Hp Compaq NC4400 And thankfully I am reliable enough to have it with its pristine condition I still love my laptop, and I'm still actively using it every day Its condition is 9/10 The only reason why I still love it because the design is really simple, boxy looks and classic

I had one very similar to this, but teal instead of navy, same basic case design and everything though I think it maybe had a few more activities? I can see it having been like the version of this that came out the next year or somethingbrbrI can't remember when exactly I got it but I feel like it had to have been 1998-99ishbrbrETA: what little info I can find suggests mine might have been called the Talking Whiz Kid Frontier It seems to be a relatively rare model

I had a vtech as a child that was similar to this but it came with a series of cassette tapes They featured a ladybug that narrated things along with the cassettes I have difficulty finding it
