Not a Taylor fan, but the sound is not all that a musician goes for The playability and feel of the instrument are also huge factors Every player has their own preference and relationship with the guitar

There is no the denying the more expensive guitar had a richer deeper tone quality, i recently purchased a martin HR for 35 grand after realizing i had become to to superior tone quality

It all depends on the sound you're looking for Believe it or not, Yamaha builds a great acoustic! In 1977 my dad went to Tony's Music in Fredericton, New Brunswick tried over 20 acoustic guitars, and ended up walking out with $300 Yamaha! Still around to this day

I dont know i have to try for the price gap there is nothing to compare a 8000 $ taylor with a yamaha shure the taylor sound better but they are not made from the same wood when you play on both it sound like 80$ guitar to me they needed to be play by pronot youthey both sound crappy😂
