I can remember, crying through out the film many many times Not because they were super emotional But I dived like only for 4 years in my life (12 to 16 y old) I really loved - and still do - the Sea and what's within And I had to stop because I got epilepsy when I was like 17ish I am now 36 y old and to only see this wonderful underwater life these Na'vi had, took me back to places, memories It was so intense It was like coming home And to leave it behind again after film ended

The 30kg camera rig for the underwater sequence isn't lighter because it's underwater That only applies to objects with any kind of buoyancy In most cases, there'd be very little air inside the camera rig, so it'd mostly be steel which is denser than water That thing would've still been a huge challenge to film with

eines versteh ich bei dem film nicht, wiso müsen die schauspieler so lange die luft anhalten könnenich verstehe ja das sie für die animationen die gesichter brauchen, aber wiso setzt man ihnen nicht einfach ganzgesichtsmasken mit eingebauten cameras aufvor allem kann man so länger unterwasser drehen und man muss nicht so oft atempausen machen---zu teuer?, bei dem was der film für specialeffekte ausgibt, macht die entwicklung der passenden masken nicht mehr viel aus---da es auch ganzgesichtstauchermasken auf dem markt gibt, wäre bestimmt nicht so teuer sie mit cameras auszustatten

All this great technology doesn't make it a good movie because the story follows a simple good bad scheme, the overly long action scenes simply mimic the patterns from the first movie and the script idealizes indigenous people by recreating white clichés In the end its just a bunch of Americans in blue costumes
