i hate school more than anyone on the earth and would have dropped out of high school many times if it were up to me in the moment but in my senior year they js told me to do sum online (which was like 2 classes from 10th and every class from 11th cuz i didn’t do anything that year and the current 12th) and i did it all in like a month so i was done with school by like September of that year and the only time i went back was to pick up my diploma i didn’t even go to graduation because i didn’t care about anything that would be there because i had moved schools recently and i don’t have a single real friend from that school and i kinda want to go to college now to get a degree but my gpa is probably cooked so even though i still hate school sm i regret not applying myself in that moment

There are several opportunities in life that come along when you're young Dropping out of high school is a bad move unless this job would be a once in a lifetime opportunity This job doesn't sound like it's worth it Also, this is not like Bill Gates dropping out of Lakeside high school For one he didn't, but he did drop out of of Harvard to form Microsoft in New Mexico

What's sad is that what he most likely is going to "learn" in high school probably is NOT going to help him earn an income at all after high school He just needs that piece of paper that says he graduated so that future employers don't immediately disregard him

That kid is really motivated and it sounds like he knows what he wants! I had no idea what I wanted at that age, and I still sometimes am unsure of what I want to do, but that's amazing! He definitely was taught well and if he continues to work hard, he will have a lot of money saved up and most definitely can retire :)

At 15 I got a job at a body shop detailing car's At 16 I was on a frame straightener and replacing body panels working flat rate making 400 a weekthis was back in 93 You don't need a high school diploma to be an auto mechanic just state certification I would have loved to drop out at 16 but my parents didn't want me to High school was a complete waste of time for me If I was a kid now especially since we have internet now and the public schools are trash nowadays I'd say drop out take online classes work from home

I quit my highschool at 16 and started penn foster online highschool which is an accredited actual highschool diploma I worked full time and did school after work and finished it early it cost like 400-1000 dollars depending on how much credits you have carry over from your other highschool Definitely worth it… I’m now 21 and own a home have wife a kid and drive a semi truck for a living and I love it Everyone from my grade is still trying to decide what to do with there life

I'm a University drop out and think that college for most careers are overrated but I'll never tell anyone to drop out if high school If the kid wants to have a career in developing real estate, have him work on construction job sites in the summer to see how things work in the real world
