I tried my Hakkapeliitta R10’s out on the ice road on my local lake the other day They gave a very impressive high speed stop and grabbed the ice when flooring the gas pedal from dead stop A person can always judge the snow and drive accordingly or not drive at all But when it comes to ice, you just never know when it is between your tires and the road They are well worth the extra money for the safety they offer

If you live in Toronto type of climate buy the Michelin X Ice snow as it is better in slush, water etc If you live in a colder and dryer climate like Winnipeg buy the Nokian R5

Nokian for me has been the best I have tried Michelin and Bridgestone but Nokia the 10th generation are the best for me Very fuel efficient and stable and quiet I live in Sweden 🇸🇪
