But why would you want to max out the amount of salary that they’re gonna pay you? I suppose it doesn’t matter how high they pay you if your hiring manager doesn’t know and it’s just a conversation with HR, but knowing how highly paid you are can influence your boss expectations of your work next time He’s probably gonna expect 200 of effort and performance from you because you negotiated such a good offer But in the end you might end up miserable because your boss is going to have impossibly high standards, no?
