I was always a big fan of the Scott spark 900 ultimate light, good travel, great trail bikebrbrBut ever since 2021 they put the rear shock inside the frame and internal front cables into the and all that makes the bike very complex on servicingbrAnd it also looks like it’s a E bike brbrSo thankfully, I won’t be buying for another few years, but I may need to switch brands

Dude, to answer your question, nobody cares about shock brand front to rear, we just care about performance The fork doesn't know if the brand name sticker on it is different than the sticker on the rear suspension That is your issue, bro If it works, it works

The 2023 fluid was pretty ordinary, it's my most recent realisation about the industry, reviews, now I rent bikes to see for myself after trying some marin and the fluid I understood reviews are paid adverts and not really a great indicator of the quality of a bike😅

Every mountain bike shoot out has a whole section of comments dedicated to how expensive full suspension bikes are if you want to get into biking, buy yourself a hard tail, price range is 600$-1500$ for entry level to mid level bikes Even better, grab a used hard tail or full suspension in your price range Full suspension bikes have a lot of expensive parts and have years of innovative works of art on them to crush tech trails and withstand drops and jumps If you aren't hitting mtb trails hard and going to bike parks, do not need any of these bikes imo If you want to hit a bike park and shred the flow there Rent a bike for the 1 or 2 times a year you might get to go out to do this If you hot trails 3 times a week or more and hit bike parks several times a year, it is cheaper to buy a $ 3000 bike because that'd be 1 year of rentals

I am not sure why the front and back suspension needs to be labeled with the same brand on it for you It's completely illogical The only thing that matters is that they get suspension that fits within their desired specs and price range For all you know the two different brand names got built in the same factory or with internal components from the same factory

As somebody who builds up and works on his bikes I prefer external cable routing And I personaly also like the rough look of it I think a mountain bike should look more like a off road machine than a slick road race car - but that's just my personal taste in design

I own a 2022 Giant Trance X3 275" in aluminum and I wouldn't trade that bike for any other bike in the world and the trails I ride at are full of high end carbon bikes ( lawyers, dentists and shit ) and I don't covet any of them, if that bike were a car , it would be a Mazda3 Jinba Ittai and the best part, it is not a 29" My other pick was the Marin Rift Zone that also comes in 275", at the end , the Trance won me

I have 2 fat bikes I bought both second hand here in the UK brFrames had a few scratches but no dents brBought quality 2nd wheels, upgraded the drivetrains when the originals wore out brBrakes are XT and SRAM level All 4 pot brbrMy fat tyres ( I have about 10) are mainly 2nd hand brEach bike all up cost me about £1300 I love them and I ride almost every day brNo need to buy new

My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price Wrote review after the son took the bike Sorry
