Internet has given me the kind of education I would never have gotten in million years from my school Internet is the reason I am able to type here in English I attended school for 15 years Studied English as a language for about 10 years Still when I was out of School, I couldn't translate a sentence of Hindi to English brbr I used to wonder why women have periods when I was a teenager Couldn't ask that in a classroom But now I can google in a secondbrbrWe need to encourage children to use Google and Internet in the classroom not prohibit it Internet is the future of education I reckon the current education system of the entire world will collapse in the next 10 years or so due to internetbrbrAs to the problem of finding out how many seconds are there in a day, if the child is curious enough (which he surely will) he will ask google "How did you get that number of 86400"brbrWhen a child says he will just Google it he is trying to save time Time which we do not have unlimited supply of and which must be saved and not wasted in learning and memorizing stuffs which can be easily googled Comment from : @ankuragr294 |
