Is this saying to print less money? isn't one of the things that Econ 101 literally teaches is that a 2 inflation rate is fine (CORRECTION THE FED RESERVE points to a 2 rate, I'm sure Econ 101 would agree but I haven't the source) I don't know about printing money, if the US stopped what would happen, but generally a small inflation rate is expected, as well if people's money didn't devalue and they stopped investing a whole flow of money would stop, now people can just save, so they no longer invest, invest in buisnesses who could use the money From my understanding we want people to invest, we don't often want them to savebrbrbrBUT HEY WAIT! I'm literally a high school student with a Econ 101 class that I made a C in, I could be VERY wrong, but commen sense, and what I have learned points to this video trying to convey a correct message with false facts

i have somewhat easy example but does not explain it fullybrbrimagine an office lady and a farmer one day the office lady got a raise because the government decide to print more money because of the raise, the office lady decide she want buy more fruit and vegetable from the farmer to her suprise, a lot of her friends do the same thing the farmer kinda suprise at the raise of his selling in first month but suddenly realize at the second month he cannot meet increasing demand from his costumer hearing this, the office lady that still want more fruits and vegetable offer that she will pay more to the farmer if the farmer can spare her some fruit and vegetable but the office lady not the only one who think of this method so in the end, the farmer decide to raise his price brbrso basiclly they end up with more money but higher price and if this continues the number in the money can reach so high but value so little, creating printing problem and much more economy problembrbrin single person perspective the amount of money we have means how big property we have, but in the grand scale of a country the amount of money we have means how fast the cycle of economy in that country and if the country cannot provide the resources for the people, inflation happen

this video also doesn’t account for the fact increase price change ie inflation isn’t just when government print money it’s a consequence of litteral economic growth itself government spending, increasing consumption amongst the population, increase investment spending an increase in exports and many more factors will result in an expanding economy sadly increase price changes will be and will forever be a consequence of expanding economies and it is the governments job to make sure either the population can catch up w/ inflation in the short term via increase wages and also do fiscal/monetary policy in order to regulate as to how much inflation we can get via increase taxes, decrease gov spending, increase administered rates
